The latter group I would not ordinarily seek out when grocery shopping for myself, so it was refreshing to be exposed to something unexpected.

Everyone loves it, and 99% of people use the Pampered Chef recipe for it. That recipe is essentially spinach-artichoke dip, wrapped in crescent dough. Yummy, but I wanted more. I wanted serious flava! So, I went Mediterranean-ish so I could add pungent feta and olives and garlic and stuff. And some pine nuts for that smooth crunch.

Fasolakia is a very traditional Greek dish in the “ladera” family. “Ladera” are foods cooked in a lot of olive oil that are served warm or at room temperature. My tummy cannot handle them. Since that is more of a topping you can just leave the olives out! I LOOOOOOVE these recipes! Especially now surrounded by this cold weather it’s so nice to have these wonderful, flavorful and colorful dishes to warm our hearts and souls! I’m looking forward to trying this bowl.
